   Hi, we're the Petersen family, and welcome to the beautiful outdoor wonders of Michigan! My name is Christian Petersen, and I'm an Air Force veteran and Michigan native who is passionate about everything outdoors. No matter the season, Michigan has what your looking for; from the skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in winter, to the beautiful rivers, lakes, or Great Lakes in the summer, and everything in between, Michigan has something for everyone!

   We know that not everyone has the privilege of growing up camping, hiking, or adventuring, so here at Petersen Expeditions, we help people to experience the Great Outdoors by providing facilities, resources, and genuine Michigan kindness to challenge people to learn new skills and build confidence in themselves, while helping to facilitate comfort and peace of mind knowing you have a someone to help.

   As a father and husband, my goal is to help families and friends disconnect from the digital world of today with screens and phones, and truly connect with one another over the spirit of adventure. To go on adventures here in Michigan, the answer is easy; head to the woods! There, you can immerse yourself in the wonder of nature, where you and your friends and family can explore, discover, and truly reconnect to the world, and each other.
